Whether you're bringing home a new puppy, struggling with something that's making everyday life difficult, or looking for a fun activity to do together, I offer personalised, force-free dog training and behaviour support tailored to you and your dog.
Based in Greater Manchester, I work with dogs and their people in person across the local area, with online support also available further afield.
1:1 Dog Training
Training that fits real life, not a one-size-fits-all obedience programme.
I work alongside you to help you understand your dog, solve the issues that are making everyday life difficult and build skills that actually work outside the training session.
From loose lead walking and recall to settling at home, jumping up, barking and struggles around distractions, we'll work on the things that matter to you and your dog.
Sessions are tailored to your individual dog and can take place at home, out in the real world or online. In-person sessions are available across Greater Manchester, with Zoom support available further afield.
Dog Behaviour Support
When your dog's behaviour is affecting everyday life, you don't have to work it out alone.
I provide personalised behaviour support for dogs who are struggling with things such as fear, anxiety, reactivity, frustration, over-arousal or other challenging behaviours.
We'll look beyond simply stopping the behaviour and work to understand what's driving it, what your dog is communicating and what changes we can make to help them feel safer and cope more successfully.
Every plan is tailored to the individual dog, the people they live with and the situations you're finding difficult.
Reactive Dog Training
Does your dog bark, lunge, pull or become overwhelmed when they see other dogs, people or distractions?
Reactive behaviour can make walks stressful for both of you. I'll help you understand what's happening and build practical strategies that make walks feel more manageable, while working at a pace your dog can cope with.
Puppy Training
Getting a new puppy is exciting, but it can also feel like a lot to navigate.
My puppy training is designed to help you get off to a great start, building your relationship, teaching useful life skills and helping you understand your puppy before unwanted habits become established.
We can work on things such as settling, handling, biting, recall, lead walking, focus and the everyday skills your puppy needs to become a confident member of the family.
Sessions can be in person across Greater Manchester or online if you're further afield.
Scent Sports
Want to do something fun together?
Scent sports give dogs the opportunity to use one of their most incredible natural abilities - their nose.
They're fantastic enrichment and can help build confidence, encourage problem-solving and strengthen the relationship between you and your dog. They're also particularly useful for dogs who find traditional activities or busy environments difficult.
